Crafted by Eric Avar, the Nike Zoom Kobe 6 was donned by Kobe Bryant throughout the 2010-2011 NBA season. Its upper features a textured polyurethane build inspired by snakeskin, paying homage to Bryant's 'Black Mamba' moniker. The shoe is fortified with a Phylon-injected midsole and Zoom Air units in the heel and forefoot. The Kobe 6 'Barcelona' showcases the iconic home colors of Spanish football club FC Barcelona, a nod to Bryant's childhood love for soccer while residing in Italy.

They look good, and they seem well made, but the toe box is waaay too narrow for me, even moving up a half-size. Very easy to get on with the rear pull-tab. Elastic on the inside of the tongue should hold it in place no matter how the terrain is pushing you, so that should help keep debris out of the shoe. Kudos for the included black and turquoise laces if you don't like the stock blue. It's too bad they were unbearably narrow in the front for me.

A surprisingly nice shoe from Skechers. There is plenty of toe room and the shoe required no "break-in" period. They were super comfortable immediately. Would recommend this shoe to others and would consider another pair for myself.

the coloring will come off if you have to clean it. also, if these get wet, your socks will turn blue. if kept dry, they are great shoes. more for fashion than athletic performance though.
