These are very nice shoes. They're comfortable and they look nice. I have some other Simple shoes that are similar and I love them too.

The sizing seems true-to-size to me. I normally wear a 10.5-11, and like all of my Simple shoes, I ordered an 11 with these. They fit very well, as expected.

I know one of the criticisms is that they easily fall apart, but that doesn't surprise me. A tag on the shoe claims the outer soles will biodegrade within 20 years, while the outer soles on some other shoes will last 1,000 year. Considering how Simple shoes are made with recycled materials, I never expect them to be very durable shoes.

However, I don't wear the same pair of shoes every day and I don't wear my Simple shoes for outdoor activities. I have several pairs of various Simple models and they're all still holding up well. These may be an athletic style of shoes, but I wouldn't wear them for athletic purposes, not just because they probably wouldn't hold up long, but also because they're probably not the best shoes for that purpose. I guess my point is that while I'm sure they do tear up quickly with frequent wear, I don't wear mine as an everyday shoe, or an athletic shoe, and they seem to be holding up fine.

Overall, I'm very pleased with all of my shoes of this brand. They're all very comfortable and have a nice, somewhat original look about them. My only complaint is that the price tag is often too high, but they're not difficult to find on sale.

Best Creative Recreation low tops I have worn to date. The inner sole does not speak as with prior shoes from them since it is now woven into the shoe. Also these shoes last extremely long and the seam where the shoe attaches to the bottom does not detach as it is woven as well. Has lasted me all summer and continues to stay as structurally intact as the day bought. Also the bottom does not "mush" or become flattened over time which is nice to see with the EVA sole.

i've owned three pairs now, and i was able to get a little over 350mi out of each pair, i think. I generally like the cushioned running shoes, even though i don't log as many miles weekly as i used to (collegiately and post, about 60-70mi). nowadays i run several times per week and mostly cycle, but these shoes held up well to sporadic use, were comfy on the occasional half-marathon, and wore as well in the rain as in the shine.

I’m 45 years old & I have chronic lower back pain. These are extremely comfortable! Great for long day wear. I usually wear crocs everywhere I go, but these are actually better for times when I’m standing or walking more than I’d like to. I usually wear a size 12 wide in mens shoes but because I wear them in the summer w no socks, I bought an 11.5 reg & they fit perfectly.

They’re Chucks! You cannot go wrong. Mine fit as expected, but I know my shoe size for this style since I have been wearing them for decades. If you don’t know your size, go to a store and try them on. Then come back to amazon if the price is right!

These shoes are carefully packaged for shipping. Each shoe is individually wrapped to hinder any marring or scuffing. The first thing we noticed when we lifted the lid, was the smell of leather. It reminded us of the days when every shoe had that genuine smell. These shoes fit the bill for that casual but dressy occasions. The fit is very comfortable and true to size. Everything appears to be very well made. The craftsmanship is impeccable.
