The mint green Primeknit upper, accented by center-stitch detailing along the vamp, is secured with rope laces. Adding contrast, a striking black streak runs along the lateral side, featuring the iconic SPLY-350 branding. Responsive cushioning is provided by a full-length Boost midsole, encased in a semi-translucent TPU cage, and supported by a high-traction rubber outsole.

The color of these is phenomenal, and the stitching is excellent. I really like them. I bought them for my daughter, who collects them, and she's so pleased with the color.

This model seems to be offered with various uppers here. Mine look similar to the 'military' color shown, but they're actually a dark green, oiled canvas. I mention this because different uppers are going to offer different protections and a different feel. Mine were somewhat stiff when they were new, because the uppers are an oiled canvas, but they quickly became soft.
I like these shoes for 2 reasons. The first is that they look good. The second is that I love PRO-Keds. While everyone has their favorite canvas sneaker, I think PRO-Keds are just simply more comfortable then any of the other major brands and I've tried them all. They also just fit my feet better and they fit true to size. I've worn PRO-Keds for about 40 years, since I was a small child, and so they've always been my preferred canvas sneaker.

Overall, a really great shoe. My feet are always getting hot, and these shoes provide great ventilation. They're light and easy to put on. Even so, they seem sturdy. I've been wearing them every day for a few weeks, (walking around, biking, etc.) and they haven't worn down more than any other shoe I've had.
I do think the laces seem a little weak, which is the only thing keeping these shoes from being a 5 star purchase. It's probably worth buying a new pair of laces and doing them up yourself.

Authentic Vans. Classic checkerboard style. Sizing is 100% accurate in width and length.
These shoes offer zero arch support so if you are over 40 or have arch issues, you may not appreciate how righteous these are. I fall into both categories and still grin and bear it.

2nd time buying these shoes. I'm an automotive tech and I'm always on my feet and in slippery situations. These shoes grip well and the soles are very comfortable, way better than work boots. Shoes hold up quite well within reason.
