The Awake NY x Air Jordan 5 Retro 'Arctic Pink' features a pink leather upper with contrast stitching and refreshed branding elements. They include Awake NY's 'A' logo integrated into the quarter panel netting, along with a crimson Jumpman, layered atop a color-matched Awake wordmark, on the silver reflective tongue. 'NY' and '23' are embroidered on the lateral heel of the right and left shoe, respectively. The tooling is borrowed from the original 'Fire Red' colorway, highlighted by a black polyurethane midsole with red shark tooth detailing and a translucent rubber outsole.

These shoes are a little wider than normal, but if you have a shoe stretcher, you can also stretch them to fit. Very comfortable. I use them for running and really like them because they have no decorative straps on the side which can can cause pressure points around the ball of the foot. Highly recommend these to anyone.

I've been wearing New Balance cross-trainers for years. They've always been great. These hiking shoes continue that experience.
I bought these hoping for some additional ankle support. Though concerned about the fit and not trying them on, I matched the size of my NB cross-trainers, and hoped for the best. No surprise, they fit just fine.
Looking at them you can tell these are not the typical/traditional heavy hiking boots. They're more of a slightly stiffer high-top sport shoe. Like a sport shoe, they are much lighter than a more traditional boot. They do provide good ankle support, and have a little bit more cushioning than a sport shoe in the sole and ankles. The soles, though Vibram, are also more like a sneaker sole, but seem to provide a very good grip.
All in all, I like 'em.

For 40 bucks I didn't think these would be much, but my first take is that they seem well made and are super comfortable. Don't know how they will hold up, but they say they are machine washable, which is a huge plus if they come out of the wash in good shape. Very good packaging, great price and fast delivery. I'm not able to tie laces anymore and slip on shoes are a new must for me so if you're in the same boat, I'd say give them a try.

shoe is made very well, good quality..I purchased a similar pair and I had to get one size larger than my regular shoes. really liked the shoes, my advise is purchase one size larger than your true shoe size, also when I received a pair of shoes similar to these as a gift, I ran into a problem. The shoe had laces off to the side, not centered with shoe. I wore them only one time and the next day when I was putting them on, one eye loop tore. I contacted PUMA and they stated I need receipt, when and where purchased. I contacted the person who gave them as a gift and they did not save receipt, due to that I saved the shoe to wear on my vacation which were months away. It has been over a year ago, and I still have the shoes in the box sitting in my closet. Be very cautious about purchasing PUMA shoes with eye loops, if so make sure you save receipt.

This is the THIRD pair of these bought for hubby. He is 87 now and still walks MILES daily and loves these shoes. He has a hand problem, so the velcro straps are absolutely the perfect thing for him. These are very smart looking as well as comfortable and functional. Highly recommended by us.
