During a Nike Europe tour in 1985, Michael Jordan made history by shattering a backboard with an explosive dunk while wearing an orange, black, and white uniform. To honor this iconic moment and uniform, the Air Jordan 1 'Shattered Backboard' (also known as 'Shattered Backboard 1.0') was released in 2015. A subsequent release followed in the Fall of 2016, known as the Air Jordan 1 'Shattered Backboard Away' (also called 'Reverse' and 'Shattered Backboard 2.0'). This sneaker retains the black laces and signature Nike branding, but replaces the orange toe box and black sections around the toe and tongue with white.

I enjoy this shoe. I was looking for that flat skate shoe feel. I was not disappointed. The only reason that I didn't give a 5 star is that it was a bit shiny for what I wanted. The DC logo is awesome and I'm happy with this purchase.

These shoes are very stylish. I think they look great with jeans or with khakis. They are also pretty comfortable. I have only had them for a week, so I cannot attest to the durability, that is really my only concern. Since they are pretty cheap, I went ahead and bought a backup pair just in case!

ordered a half size down as with most superstars and it fits fine. you can't remove the character from the shell toe, its fused on there. my only complaint is that the rubber feels strange, like its falling apart. after taking the shoes out of the box, my shirt was covered with white eraser shaving like pieces. after rubbing the midsole, my fingers got sticky and more of that stuff came off. i ended up scrubbing with reshoevn8er and the eraser shaving problem is gone, but it still has a little tack when touching it. the rest of the shoe is fine.

These are some really nice leather shoes for men. The leather and soles are both very good quality. These are nicely shaped and the finish is just beautiful. My husband really likes these shoes a lot and they look so good on his feet. He wears a size 8 and these shoes fit well (size 8). As of this review I don't know how much they cost but they are some fine looking dress shoes.

I like New Balance shoes. I wore the last pair for many many years, so when I saw this retro style I really liked them. Ended up with another pair as well. The best thing about them is that they are not that other brand which is a four letter word to me. They are super light and comfortable- should probably mention that !

I find Chucks too narrow and uncomfortable. These have a bit more width across the area of the ball of the foot, and that makes a tremendous difference in fit and comfort.
Plus the insoles really do add extra padding and support, and they do shift your weight to the outside of the foot, making them comfortable to wear for much longer.
And of course it's great to have on a pair of P. F. Flyers again!
