True to the original 1993 release, this reissue features a black and grey nubuck upper secured with a unique cross-strap design. Great shoes ... so comfortable they are my around the house shoes on our hardwood floors (in place of my old slippers that just don't compare). They fit like I expected and the wide width is so nice compared to so many shoes that only come in standard or medium width ...

one reason was that it was darker than expected (I ordered the natural white), it was closer to a very light tree bark than to the color white (would look great with jeans, though), the other was that there was a $10 price drop ($47 to $37) after I recieved the shoes.
If you like the color and the price is right then I recommend them

these don't hold up to daily wear for a year, but if i stagger wearing them with other shoes, they last for quite a few months.
