The shoe's design blends a pale yellow velour base with rich dark tan leather overlays, accentuated by a striking jeweled Swoosh in pink TPU. Dark brown accents grace the nubuck eyestay and velour collar, adding depth and sophistication. Showcasing the collaborative spirit, the green Tyvek tongue tags display mismatched branding of Nike and Social Status. I like these shoes a lot. They are super light weight. They look good and feel good. I have a very wide foot. My predecessors to these shoes were almost as expensive, and I ended up "blowing out" the sides of both shoes because of my wide feet. There is a little bit of slop in these shoes, but I ordered them 1/2 size bigger to be able to wear 2 pairs of socks with these in the winter. With 2 pairs of socks, these are as close to perfect as I could hope for. I paid about $35 with prime. If these "blow out", I will report back, but I think they are going to be just fine.

I find Chucks too narrow and uncomfortable. These have a bit more width across the area of the ball of the foot, and that makes a tremendous difference in fit and comfort.
Plus the insoles really do add extra padding and support, and they do shift your weight to the outside of the foot, making them comfortable to wear for much longer.
And of course it's great to have on a pair of P. F. Flyers again!
