Named after the reggaeton artist's son, the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 Retro 'Rio' features a black leather upper with grey elephant print overlays on the forefoot and heel. Gradient Solar Flare and Total Crimson Abyss accents adorn the back tab, highlighted by Nike Air branding on the left shoe and J Balvin's signature smiley face logo on the right. These sunset hues extend to the rear of the polyurethane midsole, complemented by a red-tinted translucent rubber outsole for support.

i've owned three pairs now, and i was able to get a little over 350mi out of each pair, i think. I generally like the cushioned running shoes, even though i don't log as many miles weekly as i used to (collegiately and post, about 60-70mi). nowadays i run several times per week and mostly cycle, but these shoes held up well to sporadic use, were comfy on the occasional half-marathon, and wore as well in the rain as in the shine.

the coloring will come off if you have to clean it. also, if these get wet, your socks will turn blue. if kept dry, they are great shoes. more for fashion than athletic performance though.
