The Stone Island x New Balance 991v2 Made in England 'Black' draws inspiration from converted industrial spaces like venues and clubs, showcasing a stealthy palette. The black nubuck overlays blend with olive mesh reminiscent of latticed metal. A woven tongue patch features Stone Island's compass logo, while a reflective 'N' adorns the quarter panel. Reflective accents are also found on the vamp overlays, eyestay, heel, and foxing windows. Providing lightweight cushioning is a full-length FuelCell midsole with an ENCAP heel and semi-translucent ABZORB SBS pods. The translucent rubber outsole reveals Stone Island's oversized compass logo.

These shoes are awesome! The look is just great, I have gotten numerous compliments on them. I am also a crossfitter so have used these for both heavy strength training and metcon workouts with running and lifting. The flat sole is good for lifting technique and has good cushion overall, not crazy but enough and has a great fit to it. Only thing I would recommend is scotch guard the white areas cause they get dirty fast on the toe. Awesome otherwise, and I will probably by another pair when these start to wear out but doing great so far with regular wearing and workouts.

Not the most stylish of shoes, but they worked great for what we needed them for the Rose Bowl Parade and everything else they did out there, he didn't have them broke in either, because there was no time, we got them 2 days before he left for his trip and he didn't have any issues at all with his feet hurting them and he actually stated he likes them and would buy another pair. He is hard on shoes and they've held up for a few months now so yes these are good walking shoes.

My husband and I bought a pair of these each and we enjoy wearing them around. We are old kids, I suppose, because we are not kids. The shoes change colors, blink, and do all sorts of things - so much fun especially outside at night. And they are so comfortable to wear!!!!!
