These shoes are nice looking, the leather very pliable and attractive. The soles have zero arch support and very minimal padding. The sole also doesn’t bend very easily but this might change as you break in the shoe. The standard size is quite narrow. They look great but feel maybe not so great. 3.5 stars for style over function.

I have never mail-ordered shoes before but my son loves his Van's. He found the style that he liked on Amazon and then ordered one shoe size larger than the ones that fit now. And it seems to have worked out perfectly, he is set, in the shoe department, all ready for his start as a freshman next month!!!!
