The Air Jordan 4 Retro NRG 'Raptors' pays homage to the OG colorway of the Air Jordan 7 that shares the same name. Both iterations showcase a nubuck construction and a color palette featuring black, red, and purple. While the Air Jordan 7 released in 1992 featured charcoal grey paneling, the Air Jordan 4 'Raptors' differentiates itself by omitting this element and adding a speckled midsole. Interestingly, it's worth noting that the 'Raptors' name is not directly tied to historical significance, as the Toronto Raptors franchise was established in 1995.

The shoes look and feel well made. A plus considering the price. The hook-and-loop fastener makes the shoes easy to put on and take off. There is not a lot of support for the arch of the foot, so I sometimes use an insert for extra support.

These are perfect classic tennys to wear all day. Neither too masculine or feminine, light to medium grays in the color. Sole is stable & comfortable without being clunky on. Inside some padding, outer is a strong netting on top of shoe and a layer of material underneath that. I'm 67 and feet have flattened out with time but, these are comfortable support for me all day

I've been running with New Balance shoes for years and found them to be the best. What I didn't realize is that they make such comfortable shoes for everyday wear. I spend a lot of time standing and walking on my job; I also have plantar fasciitis due to high arch and physical stress on my feet. I've tried pretty much everything from running shoes to walking shoes, as well as hi-end Clark's, and different arch supports. NB 801 are by far the most comfortable. They provide outstanding cushioning and support; you can easily slip them off for few minutes, and they look well-made. For the first time in years my fasciitis is not aggravated after hours of standing. I will get a second pair for traveling.
