While the Air Yeezy 2 NRG 'Solar Red' shares a similar color palette with its predecessor, the Air Yeezy 'Blink,' it distinguishes itself with a more refined silhouette. Designed with Kanye in mind, it showcases special details such as a molded rubber heel, anaconda-textured side panel, and tongue and midfoot strap featuring Egyptology references. A notable feature carried over from the original Air Yeezy is the glow-in-the-dark outsole, which is employed here with tooling borrowed from the Nike Air Tech Challenge II. Please note that this shoe is a sample version.

These fit true to size for length, but I find them to be a bit closed in the toe box. They look fantastic - but because of the tight toe area, I find myself only putting them on if I know I'm only going to be wearing them for a few hours. Anything beyond that, and I'll grab a different pair of shoes from the closet...

Very comfortable shoes. They seem to get more comfortable each time you wear them. Only issue is that you will need socks that cover your heel as the back of the shoe will rub it raw.

The width and memory foam inserts make the shoe very comfortable. I have worn them for only 3 days so far. I hope the inserts hold up over daily use.

This is the second pair of these my son has purchased. The first pair was specifically for running but now he’s more into powerlifting. He got very comfortable using these shoes while he was lifting so when he wore the first pair out he got new ones. These are actually better crafted than the first pair. I think the company made some good improvements
