Inspired by the music composer from the 1800’s, the Nike Kobe 9 Elite “Beethoven” is meant to reflect the idea of timelessness with a simple white and black colorway. Constructed with a grey Flyknit upper, the silhouette is contrasted with white tones on the tongue and heel, while black hues line the branding and Swoosh. Additionally, a carbon fiber print is featured on the heel, while a speckled midsole rounds out the monochromatic appeal.

I have the size 8. They have a weight of 8.25oz each. So they are quite lightweight. This is because the sole is Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (plastic). The upper is mesh and breathable. There is a nice padded footbed, which is removable. Slight bit of arch support. Not much padding around the heel / ankle. They are a little slick on the bottom. Very attractive look.
These shoes are Made in China and being sold by a Chinese company on Amazon. At the current price of 43 bucks, they are at least 10 bucks overpriced, but they are very attractive and nice overall.

Great made shoes, but size is smaller than last pair I bought my husband. Surprising since it's the same style. Next time I will order bigger size.

Shoes are for my husband who wears a size 14 and has a difficult time finding shoes that are comfortable and fit well. He loves these Skechers and has had them on since they arrived. He's breaking them in for a trip we are taking in the Spring and no doubt they will serve him well.
