In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the 2020 Air Jordan 5 Retro 'Fire Red' pays homage to the iconic OG colorway. Remaining true to its roots, this edition preserves the essence with a white leather upper, accompanied by a silver reflective tongue and Nike Air branding on the heel. The black midsole, adorned with red shark tooth detailing inspired by the WWII P-51 Mustang fighter plane, receives added strength from an icy translucent outsole.

My dad just raved about these shoes again. He's had these sneakers since December 2016. For the past ten years he's never had a pair of shoes that lasted more than half year until he met these. This one made it well past and he feels it will last more months to come. Another plus are the velcro snaps; his hands are not as nimble so the Velcro is perfect to secure his feet into the shoes. He is so happy with these, he's planning his next pair; he requested to get these same shoes next time he needs a new pair but in the color black and half size smaller.

They look nice with jeans but if you have even a slightly large ankle they are not very forgiving in comfort.

I ordered this for my father-in-law who is in assisted living. He needs a comfortable shoe that is easy to take on and off. The first pair I ordered was too short and too tight. I reordered a wider shoe one size larger and it fits well and is very comfortable.
